  • The keyboards and input methods never use the internet.
  • Your keystrokes are not kept for upload, and nobody analyzes them.
  • Zero cookies and zero visitor analytics on the website.
  • Only launch-alert sign-ups and messages you submit are kept on a server.

1. Keyboards and input methods

  • The iOS keyboard, Android IME, macOS app, Windows IME and Linux IBus engine have no network capability. No keystroke is transmitted anywhere; every conversion is computed on the device.
  • Stored only on the device: learned words, your leave-as-is and always-convert lists, and stats such as how many Han/Eng presses you avoided. You can clear them or export them to a file from the app settings.
  • Password fields are passed through without conversion.
  • The iPhone keyboard does not request Full Access. The macOS app must be granted Accessibility access to convert text in other apps; keys read that way are not transmitted off the Mac.

2. Vocabulary updates in the main app

  • Vocabulary packs are downloaded by the main app, never by the keyboard. The request contains no personal information or typed text. As with any internet request the server sees the connecting IP address briefly; we do not log or analyze it.
  • A pack is used only after its Ed25519 signature is verified.

3. This website

  • Zero cookies, zero ads, zero visitor analytics.
  • If you choose an appearance (light or dark), only that value is stored in your browser’s localStorage.
  • The demo engine runs entirely in your browser; nothing typed into the demo is transmitted.
  • The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process connection logs to operate and secure the service.

4. Launch alerts

  • Collected: email address, chosen platforms, time of sign-up, page language.
  • Purpose: letting you know that a platform you picked has launched. Nothing else.
  • Retention: deleted within 30 days after the last platform announcement, or without delay when you ask.
  • Never used for ads or shared with third parties.

5. Contact and feedback

  • Collected: topic, your message, an email address if you want a reply (optional), time sent, page language.
  • Purpose: to answer you and improve the product.
  • Retention: deleted within one year of receipt, sooner on request.

6. Processors and storage

Launch-alert and contact data are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and storage). It is not shared with or sold to anyone else.

7. Your rights

  • You may ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your data. Send the request with the email you used through the contact page.
  • If you are under 14, please do not leave an email address for alerts or messages.

8. Safeguards

Storage access is limited to the operator account, all transfers use HTTPS, and the data collected is kept to a minimum.

9. Controller and changes

  • Operator: EZWARE. Privacy requests are handled through the contact page.
  • Any change will appear on this page first, together with the date it takes effect.
